Member organizations

The Maine Pellet Fuels Association was incorporated on June 11, 2008, to serve a perceived need for a trade association to advance the production and use of wood pellet fuel in Maine.  The incorporators of the Association are

  • Charles Agnew, Biomass Commodities, Inc.
  • Harry "Dutch" Dresser, Maine Energy Systems, LLC
  • George Soffron, CEO, Corinth Wood Pellets, Inc.

Membership in the Association is open to those who manufacture or distribute wood pellets or appliances for their use or who are otherwise involved in the promotion of wood pellets as a fuel source in Maine.  Current members include:
